Terms of Service

At Scalp Micro NZ, we provide premium in‑home scalp micropigmentation treatments across Waikato & Bay of Plenty. Our goal is to deliver professional care in the comfort of your own space, ensuring privacy, safety, and confidence at every step. These Terms of Service outline the responsibilities, policies, and expectations that guide your treatment journey.

1. Services Provided

1.1 Scalp Micro NZ offers non‑surgical cosmetic scalp micropigmentation (SMP) treatments.  

1.2 Each treatment plan is tailored to the client’s goals following consultation.  

1.3 Services are delivered in‑home, with all equipment and materials provided by Scalp Micro NZ.  

 

2. Client Responsibilities

2.1 Preparation — Follow the pre‑treatment guide provided (hydration, scalp conditioning, shaving instructions).  

2.2 Health Disclosure — Inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect treatment.  

2.3 Environment — Provide a clean, safe, and calm space in your home for the procedure.  

2.4 Conduct During Treatment — Clients must refrain from disruptive activities such as hosting parties, consuming alcohol, or engaging in gang‑related or unsafe behavior while treatment is performed.  

2.5 Aftercare — Follow the aftercare instructions provided to ensure optimal results.  

3. Booking & Payment

3.1 A deposit may be required to secure your booking.  

3.2 Full payment is due on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed.  

3.3 Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, EFTPOS, or cash.  

3.4 Prices are confirmed at the time of booking and may be subject to change.  

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

4.1 Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the appointment will receive a full refund of any deposit.  

4.2 Cancellations within 48 hours may result in forfeiture of the deposit.  

4.3 Rescheduling is permitted subject to availability.  

5. Results & Limitations

5.1 SMP results vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare.  

5.2 Touch‑up sessions may be required to maintain the desired look.  

5.3 Identical results cannot be guaranteed for every client.  

6. Liability

6.1 Scalp Micro NZ takes all professional precautions to ensure safety and quality.  

6.2 We are not liable for adverse outcomes resulting from undisclosed medical conditions, failure to follow aftercare, or environmental factors outside our control.  

7. Privacy & Confidentiality

7.1 All client information is treated with strict confidentiality.  

7.2 Photos may be taken for progress tracking and marketing purposes only with client consent.  

7.3 Your home environment and personal details remain private.  

8. Amendments

8.1 Scalp Micro NZ reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time.  

8.2 Clients will be notified of significant changes prior to their appointment.  

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New Zealand.  

9.2 Any disputes will be handled under New Zealand jurisdiction.
